The site is a natural monument which is being drilled by waves in Echizen kaga Kaigan Quasi-National Park.
The country's designated photogenic spot is famous for the scenery of the rough seas of Japan.
The rock surface looks soft at first, but the columnar rock that is said to have been formed when the lava cooled and solidified, is so hard. This is kind of like a work of art.
An exciting rock wall extends for about 1 km.
Other than this site, there are shopping street and opportunity for riding the sightseeing ferry boat.

This Quasi-National Park is a scenic quasi-national park with a complex coastline and a ria coastline with sea cliffs and large and small islands at the tip of the peninsula.

Recently these area has been fastly developed.
When I was child, there's no any special buildings here. Yet, current is not. You can adore skyscraper in the right picture.
From the observatory, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the city of Osaka. On a nice day, you can see Awaji Island, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Kyoto Tower, Tower of the Sun (Expo Park), etc.
The downtown area of Osaka is the northern direction from the observation deck of Abeno Harukas. I was impressed by the scenery like never before.
First of all, the greenery of Tennoji Park spreads below your eyes, and the greenery of Shitennoji can be seen slightly to the right.
The Namba skyscrapers can be seen slightly to the left of the green extension of Tennoji Park.
On the extension of Tennoji Park,
you can see buildings in Umeda and Nakanoshima, one of the tallest skyscrapers in Japan.
